banking, insurance and pre-need. It is led by its founding
president Ambassador Francisco A. Alba (RP Envoy
to the Vatican 2001 to 2003) as Chairman of the
Prudentialife Group of Companies. Together, they are
committed to serve the Filipino family. MANCOM - The middle managers of Prudentialife, geared towards assisting
the company in the attainment of its Mission-Vison. MANCOM MANCOM ADMINISTRATION AND PURCHASING - The Administrative and Purchasing Department is responsible
for acquiring, providing, safekeeping, controlling and issuing
company assets, equipment, furniture, and supplies.
It attends to the maintenance and repairs of equipment, furniture
and other properties of the company and ensures their continued
use and prolong their serviceability. ADMINISTRATION and PURCHASING / CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS -
The Corporate Communications Department aims to continue
the build-up of the brand – Prudentialife. It intends to achieve
this vision by providing professional and productive support to
the advertising and communications needs of the Prudentialife
Group. The department strives to project one voice and one look
through an integrated and strategic Corporate Communications
program. This is being done to ensure that the Filipino family and
all our clients become advocates of our brand. BRANCH ADMINISTRATION - The Branch Administration Department is responsible in reviewing
and standardizing all office procedures in provincial branches. It
recommends the hiring and the appropriate training of provincial
employees and discusses solutions for problems encountered
by the branch. BRD also handles the review of the manpower
complement of the marketing group. INTERNAL AUDITING - The Internal Auditing Department is a part of the management
control system to assist the pre-need and affiliate companies in
conducting in a regular manner a systematic, risk-oriented branch
and departmental audit and system review. This is designed to
add value and improve operations by identifying opportunities for
cost savings / revenue enhancement. It also evaluates existing
policies, procedures, and practices. The over-all goal is to provide
reasonable assurance to the management that corporate
goals and objectives are achieved. INTERNAL AUDITING / BRANCH ADMINISTRATION HUMAN RESOURCES - 
The Human Resources Department believes that
people are our best assets. In order to
live up to this belief, HRD commits itself in
producing highly-productive and efficient
professionals. This starts with people who
possess the abilities and competencies to
do the job. To keep employees motivated, HRD
ensures that employees are provided with
benefits, compensation and training that
would encourage a healthy work environment
where contributions are recognized and
rewarded. LEGAL - 
The Legal Department’s goal is to attend to the legal needs of
Prudentialife (such as preparation of legal opinions, contract
drafting, meeting with clients and legal consultation).
It ensures that the company welfare is protected
by acting as liaisons for legal matters. The
department also coordinates and monitors the
progress of all legal actions filed by and against
the company by conducting investigation and filing
of timely reports / updates of the cases. LGD
also handles negotiation for amicable settlement
of cases and disputes, whenever necessary. ACTUARIAL SERVICES - 
The Actuarial Services Department analyzes the financial consequences
of risk of the company. The department uses mathematics,
statistics, and financial theory to study uncertain future
events, relative especially to insurance and pension programs. AFFILIATE SUPPORT / PLPGI-ACCOUNTING AND ADMINISTRATION - 
The Affiliate Support Department is responsible for handling IT
projects, software, hardware and / or infrastructure implementation
of all affiliates of the Prudentialife Group. The PLPGI Accounting and Administration ion the other hand is tasked to safeguard
the company’s assets, provides the management with financial
reports on the results of its operations and ensures compliance
with rules and regulations of government agencies. Also in this picture is the ACTUARIAL SERVICES team.
SOFTWARE
DEVELOPMENT AND
SUPPORT - The Software Development and Support Department is responsible
for providing project management support in various IT projects.
It also addresses data information requirement of the top
and middle management and facilitates the collection and maintenance
of such information. SDD develops, implements and maintains
a group-wide dictionary for the consolidated data coming
from various databases and subsequently, the creation of a data
warehouse for easy and user-friendly data extraction and report
generation. It offers various services in information management,
project management and program development. TECHNOLOGY SERVICES DIVISION CUSTOMER SERVICE - The Customer Service Department is in charge of handling all
inquiries, requests and complaints of planholders. CSD is emerging
as a multi-function group to include Plan Conservation, Plan
Management, Claims and School Operations Departments on
staggered basis. CSD is envisioned to become a real “One-Stop-
Shop” for the planholders. CASH - The Cash Department is in charge of managing
company funds by conducting cash forecasting
and monitoring. The department is
also responsible in receiving payment and
collections made by planholders or company
employees through cashiers in different
branches under the Prudentialife Group. PLAN CONSERVATION - The Plan Conservation Department is responsible for the collection
and monitoring of payments of accounts. It handles encoding
and monitoring of payments; reinstatement of lapsed plans,
issuance of billing and overdue notices; processing of certificate
of full payment; generation of collection efficiency for franchise
collectors and handling of unremmitted collection or misappropriation
cases. PCD also formulates and implements
innovative ways that will further enhance the quality of collection
in the company. GENERAL ACCOUNTING - The General Accounting Department is responsible for providing
the management with up-to-date data in the financial standing of
the company. Accordingly, it maintains and monitors all books of
accounts of the company, sees to it that the company complies
with the rules and regulations of government agencies, pays all
company payables and sees to it that all company collections are
properly accounted for. The department is now divided into three sections:
Receivable and Bank Reconciliation Section; Payable
Section; and Subsidiary and Financial Analysis Section. E-SERVICES - E-Services Department further strengthens Prudentialife in the
global arena by using technology and innovation. The main objectives
of e-Services Department are : use the strategic advantage
of digital and information technology to strengthen our products
and services in the global arena; maximize the benefits
derived from automation through harmonious interaction of technology
innovation and business processes; utilize technology
innovations in providing business partners (planholders, sales
associates and employees) faster and cost effective means of
communicating and accessing information from head office. e-SERVICES The Plan Management Department is in charge of maintaining
all plan applications of planholders. Specifically, the department
is in charged of accepting and processing of
plan applications; encoding and attending to
request for change in plan data; assignment
of contract numbers and release of plan contracts. 
The department also ensures that all approved
plan applications are encoded, scanned
and filed. PLM also attends to all SIBEL or Call
Center related requests. PLAN BENEFITS - The Plan Benefits Department is responsible for the administration
of pension loans and servicing of pension maturity benefits,
computation and release of all education plan benefits for all matured
plans and handling claims for all plans. PLAN BENEFITS METHODS AND PROCEDURES - The Methods and Procedures Department is responsible for the
documentation, standardization, archiving and implementation of
existing, new or revised policies and procedures affecting business
and systems processes. CORPORATE PLANNING - The department mainly handles investment analysis to maximize
returns, evaluation and appraisal of investment opportunities and
preparation of financial reports to guide future corporate business
decisions and plans.
It also directly coordinates with the company’s trustee banks
for the consolidation and administration of the company’s trust
fund. Also in picture are members of Methods and Procedures department. OPERATIONS AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT - The Operations and Technical Support provides not only a 100%
on call delivery of requests for Head Office and Metro Manila
Branch Offices as well as auditing of resources’ performances
and usage in its area of responsibility. The department also renders
technical assistance to provincial branch offices by coordinating
with technical staff assigned in Davao and Iloilo
branches and respective Administrative
Officers (AO) for Luzon branch office. OPERATIONS AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT MORTUARY SERVICES  - The Mortuary Services Department fulfills its commitment to
the Filipino family by delivering memorial services PROMPTLY,
PROFESSIONALLY and in a PERSONAL manner at the time of
need. The department operates 24 hours a day, seven days a
week. In Metro Manila, there are four mortuary service assistants
who work on a 24-hour shift with one on stand-by. MORTUARY SERVICES PLPI-PMRC EXECUTIVE SECRETARIES - They assist officers in their day to day activities; keeps track
of daily appointments, answers and screens telephone calls,
emails, letters of planholders, walk-ins and various clients. They
also attend to marketing staff inquiries which require action, draft
and finalize memos and other correspondences. As custodian of all important documents and records pertaining
to the company, they make sure all important files are kept in a
safe place and handle all matters related to the company with
utmost confidentiality. PMRC MARKETING OFFICERS - On October 16, 2003, Prudentialife Market Resources Corporation
(PMRC) was set up as the marketing company of the Prudentialife
Group to fulfill Prudentialife’s mission of helping build the good
life for every Filipino family. Today, PMRC offers products and
services such as memorialization,
healthcare, financial services, real
estate, life and non-life insurance,
and travel and leisure. PMRC has
grown to be one of the largest marketing
organizations in the country

a brighter future. PMRC-TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT - The Training and Development Department is a center for learning
and development. The department was established to deliver
efficient and effective programs for all levels and ranks so that
the necessary learning with all the concomitant skills and attitude
are achieved. These learning, skills, and attitude are factors
which will bring about outstanding performances in the sales associate’s
individual performance areas. PMRC SALES AND MARKETING ADMINISTRATION - The PMRC-Sales and Marketing Department is responsible
for the assignment of codes to sales associates
to determine and monitor the sales organization where
they belong. The department also records the sales production
and production credits made per sales counselor,
agency manager, area manager and division sales
manager / regional managers. The objective of the department
is to provide a one-stop shop to sales associates’
needs, inquiries, and complaints. PMRC INSTITUTIONAL SALES - The PMRC Institutional Sales Department continues to live up
with the Prudentialife’s vision by securing its share in the corporate
market. Aside from providing marketing support to our sales
associates in their institutional selling activities, ISD is also gearing
its thrust towards a more pro-active stance in marketing to
corporate accounts. PMRC-INSTITUTIONAL SALES MRC FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION - The PMRC Finance and Administration Department prepare s
monthly financial statements of the company, handles all receipt
disbursement transactions of the company, handles requests of
various departments and marketing divisions on office supplies,
office equipment and other assets, in coordination with PLPI Purchasing
and Administrative Department. It also handles recommendation for personnel hiring and movements,
coordination with PLPI-Human Resources Department
and availment of company and law-mandated benefits to regular
employees. PMRC AGENCY ACCOUNTING - The PMRC-Agency Accounting Department Department is responsible
for computation and release of incentives of all sales
associates; monitors income, withholding tax, fidelity and provident
fund of sales associates. It records and monitors accountabilities
of all sales associates and prepares financial statements on
